Vietnam Mandatory Pre-Arrival Digital Declaration

April 23, 2026

Ho Chi Minh City Hall - Vietnam Mandatory

Key Mandatory Requirements

The transition to a digital-first entry means all passengers must adhere to the following:

Location: Starting at Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) from April 15th, 2026. Official Portal: All declarations must be submitted via prearrival.immigration.gov.vn. The Window: Forms must be completed within 3 days (72 hours) prior to arrival and at least 24 hours before departure. Universal Requirement: This is mandatory for all foreign visitors, regardless of visa type or nationality.

Compliance Process: From Portal to QR Code

To ensure a hassle-free entry for your clients, follow this standard procedure:

Online Submission: Clients must fill out the personal and travel information form on the official platform within the designated window. QR Code Generation: Upon successful submission, a unique QR Code will be issued via the portal/email. Border Presentation: Travelers must present this QR Code (digital or printed) at the immigration counter upon arrival.

DMC Connect’s Strategic Advice

We strongly advise agents to integrate this declaration into their final travel documentation package. Completing the form before the flight is the only way to bypass onsite congestion and ensure a faster, “green-lane” experience through Vietnam’s immigration halls.

By partnering with DMC Connect, you stay informed on real-time regulatory shifts, ensuring your agency remains the trusted authority for travel to the “New Vietnam.”
