After FITUR Madrid: Southeast Asia Programmes for Spanish Tour Operators

DMC Connect is a Southeast Asia DMC for Spanish tour operators and travel agents, and we exhibited at FITUR in Madrid in January 2026. We are the destination management company (DMC) that runs the programmes on the ground. Selected itineraries list a Spanish-speaking guide, and every request is answered with a tailored proposal within 24 hours.

Madrid, January 2026

FITUR is the international tourism trade fair in Madrid. This is what we did there:

  • The fair: the 46th edition ran from 21 to 25 January 2026, and our booth was surrounded by the Amazing Thailand pavilion and global exhibitors.
  • Business matching: our team held dozens of business-matching sessions with partners.
  • New products: we said to expect new multi-country itineraries connecting Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, shaped for European demand for slow travel and sustainability.
  • Rates and access: we reported better rates and exclusive access for our B2B partners after the discussions.

Working across the time difference

Bangkok is on UTC+7 all year and does not change its clocks. Mainland Spain is on UTC+1 in winter and UTC+2 in summer, so Bangkok is 6 hours ahead in winter and 5 hours ahead in summer. Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bali are on UTC+8, one hour further ahead. A request sent in the European working day reaches our team in the Asian evening, and we reply with a tailored proposal within 24 hours.

Do you have guides who speak Spanish?

Three of our published itineraries list a Spanish-speaking guide: a 4-day Luang Prabang itinerary, the 10-day Romantic Bali retreat and Singapore & Malaysia Combined. For any other programme, tell us the guiding language you need when you request a proposal and we will confirm it in the proposal.
